Coral Watercolor lesson

This week you will research coral reefs and coral formations. You will then use a variety of watercolor techniques (salt, plastic wrap, wet on wet, blowing, etc.) to create watercolor painted papers. Students will create abstract fantasy coral collages using these papers.

Materials:

  • Colored or white paper

  • Watercolor paint

  • Scissors

  • Glue

  • Salt, rubbing alcohol

  • Crayons, colored pencils or markers
